Taoist Chinese Medicine

Practiced for over 1700 years, Fengyang traditional Chinese medicine was developed by Dong Feng (220-280 AD). As practitioners today, we follow the same high standards of holistic healing techniques focused on the patient.

Portia Brantley

A little bit about Portia

Born to help you UnBurden, Coach Portia uses dual tools to help heal both the inner and outer bodies.  These dual tools-- Tui Na BodyWork and Parts Work Coaching—are resources, which become a power packed avenue toward UnBurdening in her practice!

Coach Portia uses Tui Na BodyWork to open the flow of Qi (Energy) within the body, creating an environment of happy cells!  Happy cells promote healing that is spread throughout the body, removing blockages.  When blockages are removed by energy through physical touch, our physical bodies begin to UnBurden, returning to its natural, divine state of pureness, wholeness.  Tui Na is a Traditional Chinese Medicine technique that uses pressing, pulling, grasping, kneading, pummeling, and often stretching.  This BodyWork is administered with clothes on, generally loose-fitting clothing that would allow for these maneuvers.  Coach Portia works with a 9-line system of the body, which includes the head, neck, down both sides of the spine, hips, and buttocks to help open the flow of Qi.    We all have physical challenges, struggles, pains, especially as we grow more mature in age.  Coach Portia helps you remain youthful, agile, healed by this Gift of Touch!  Coach Portia became a Fengyang TCM Tui Na Practitioner under her amazing guru, Dr. Ming Wu (see more about Dr. Wu at the end of this page).

Coach Portia is also an Internationally Certified Parts Work Coach.  Parts Work, as she describes, is much like surgery under a powerful microscope.  It locates the source of complications, provides a full view, discovers why It is there, as Its wisdom is shared, and often releases It’s complicated source.  Parts can be given a “do-over” or our Parts can remove with the process of UnBurdening.  With Parts Work, she says, “We could truly move mountains!  When we UnBurden, freedom is created!”  UnBurdening packs an energy punch of creativity, playfulness, active listening, often joined by various Parts that also come into play.  Parts Work is deep, inner work, and It pairs quite well with the physical touch of Tui Na BodyWork.

Using these dual tools for healing, Coach Portia is unique as she is the only healer across the globe that has paired the two in her practice.  Her motto-- “We UnBurden Together”- places the duo of Tui Na BodyWork and Parts Work Coaching at your fingertips.
