Case Study
His recent patient is such an example. She came to Dr. Wu after having severely burned her hands with boiling water. These burns became infected and her hands swelled enormously. She had been taking high doses of strong antibiotics which seemed to have no effect on the growing infection. Ultimately, her doctors decided that the best course of action would be to perform a surgery in which they would cut out all of the dead tissue and use skin grafts to cover those areas. Hoping to avoid this extreme measure, she turned to Dr. Wu.
Above are the first images the patient sent to Dr. Wu, sent to him on 6/23/25.
Dr. Wu prescribed the patient a formula in which he combined 2 well-known TCM formulas, these being: Pu Ji Xiao Du Yin (普濟消毒飲) and Bai Hu Tang (白虎湯), plus the herb Da Huang (大簧). He also instructed her to apply San Huang Cream topically.
Within one day the patient noticed a dramatic improvement. After a few more, the swelling went down hugely. She went to the ER and the doctors cut away the dead skin:
She continued taking the herbs and applying San Huang cream and her burns continued to heal. The photos below were sent to him on 7/7/25, 2 weeks after starting treatment!
The herbs mentioned previously for internal use can be used preventatively for travel to prevent illness, for supporting healing of infections, and for supporting the resolving of infections. San Huang Cream is for topical usage for burns and infections, and can be purchased here:
